THE BLUE ILLUSION BY YARDEN AVIV
- SUPER CLEAN
- VISUALLY STUNNING
- HAND MADE GIMMICK
THIS IS AN EYE POPPING MOMENT OF MAGIC.
I must say that this looks so good. It is by far the cleanest ALL-AROUND
color-changing card box I have ever seen.
A BLUE BICYCLE card box is picked up off your table. It is shown to your audience in the fairest possible manner; no cover of any kind.
The box is opened and a RED DECK is slid half way out. With just a wave the ENTIRE BOX VISUALLY changes color to RED. THIS REALLY HAS TO BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED. ALL 6 SIDES CAN BE SHOWN.
The deck is removed and spread FACE UP. Your spectator names ANY CARD; no force of any kind.
The freely named card is flipped face down. It is the ONLY BLUE-BACKED CARD in the ENTIRE DECK. The named card is flipped face up and laid on the red card box. The deck is shown; there are no other BLUE CARDS in the deck.
At this point you explain it's all been an illusion.
The box was NEVER BLUE, there are NO BLUE cards in the deck and finally the card they named was also never really blue. The spectator turns over the card themselves; IT IS NOW RED.
This is a fantastic routine, that's super easy to do. It comes with all the custom-made props.
NO ELASTIC THREAD
NO DENTAL DAM
This is SO good.
I’ve been after a color changing card box for 20+ years that fit certain criteria for a routine I developed years ago.
Thus far, not one single option on the market has fit that criteria. I have tried several times myself over the years to create my own and have had no luck.
This has finally solved everything. Thank you again Mark, I truly appreciate it. - Aaron J. Smith
Its like a moment of REAL MAGIC.

Very easy to do. It amazes the spectators every time!
Last Fall I Picked up "The Blue Illusion" through another vendor only because I was ordering a couple of different vendor items. While at first it took me some practice to get the movement down to make the change from a blue box to a red box, this even fooled me, even though I knew what was happening. I would also suggest that once you received the gimmick, using some masking tape to reinforce it as you will get general ware and tear over time. I took this to youth conference earlier this year and had the pleasure of performing it for multiple groups of teens who flipped out. Definitely a fun piece of magic.
